I educate 7th and 8th graders that can’t grasp the concept of tabloid thinking, card stacking, and so on. Nevertheless, the bandwagon sort is an simple one for them. Persuasion they realize, but the form used in ads – they can not relate.

    I think the best way to teach a principle is through “examples” and “stories”. It gives a person a landmark to help reference the main info of a discussion.

    My science teacher ingrained his lessons from high school by starting each day with a daily fact that grabbed my attention. Then he lead into the main flow of info.
