Question by Megan: Does Jane Austen’s “Persuasion” have a happy ending?
I am sooo not in the mood to view a film that will make me break down in tears, so I opted for a Jane Austen film. Typically, they are delighted and always make me smile. Now, this one, I’m not rather sure if there is going to be a “pleased ending.” Please relieve me!

It most certainly does. As far as I recall, all of Austen’s stories have happy endings.
